what to expect in your share

At CBI’s Giving Tree Farm, we provide a weekly supply of extremely fresh, local, and Certified Organic produce.  Our CSA is divided into three seasons; Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Spring Share:  April 19th – June 7th

Cost: $140 over 8 weeks - $17.50 per week

This 8-week share is full of fresh greens, early radishes, and beautifully fragrant herbs.  Our spring share gives you a taste of what’s to come in summer and provides access to the fresh produce that is hard to come by in the colder months.  These shares will supply you with approximately $15-$25 worth of produce each week.

Summer Share:  June 14th – September 27th

Cost: $440 over 16 weeks - $27.50 per week

The greatest time of year for Michigan produce is during the warm summer months.  The variety of produce expands to bring you flavorful and colorful items such as heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, and summer squash.  This is the time of year where you can expect to receive extras in your shares worth roughly $25-$40 each week.

Fall Share:  October 4th – November 22nd

Cost: $140 over 8 weeks - $17.50 per week.

Similar to the Spring share, our fall share runs for 8 weeks in the cooler fall months when we are flush with dark leafy greens and winter squash.  The Fall Share brings you some crops that can be stored for the long winter Michigan months.  In these shares you get approximately $15-$25 worth of produce each week.
